Spending a day at Werribee Mansion has made me wonder what beautiful places like this are located close to Canberra, places with flowering gardens, wallowing waterholes or historic buildings, places that would provide the ideal venue for a lazy luncheon baby shower, a vintage wedding or an afternoon tea for my Grandmas 80th.
So to start the list of Canberra’s hidden secrets what better place to begin than the gorgeous gardens of Redbrow, the venue for my wedding two years ago.
After many hours of googling ‘outdoor wedding venues in Canberra’, I came across Redbrow Gardens, the perfect place for a garden wedding. Located 20 minutes from Canberra towards Murrumbateman, Redbrow Gardens offers a unique and luxourious venue, surrounded by gorgeous gardens and a picturesque lake.
We had our ceremony in the gardens with a casual picnic style reception, however if you were wanting to have a more formal reception Redbrow also offers an area for a marquee, perfect for creating an elegant high tea wedding reception.
