Walking onto the grounds of Werribee Mansion was like taking a step back in time and visiting one of Mr Darcy’s country houses. A stunning old mansion surrounded by huge manicured gardens, a perfect spot I would think for Elizabeth Bennett to host many an elegant high tea.
Back in the present day it was also the prefect place for the perfect wedding of my sister, offering a mix of vintage glam and modern day beauty. Never one to stick with traditions my sister was breathtaking in a bold red gown, and her husband to be not to shabby himself with the fine touch of a good old fashioned bow tie.
Being a typical ‘four seasons in one’ Melbourne day, I think it was definitely a sign of good things to come when the sun broke through just in time for the ceremony. It turned into a beautiful day for two people very much in love.
Very happy that my sister has found her little ray of sunshine 🙂
